Join the ACCCN SA/NT Committee on Tuesday 24 November 2026 for an evening of practical renal education, good conversation and connection with critical care colleagues from across Adelaide.
Renal: AKI and Beyond
Acute kidney injury is a common and complex challenge in the ICU. This Hot Topic Evening brings together ICU nurses, critical care healthcare professionals and colleagues from across the profession for a practical refresher on AKI, current evidence and what it means at the bedside.
Hear from clinicians working in critical care as they explore early recognition of AKI, haemodynamic management, prevention, revised KDIGO guidelines and the latest developments in CRRT practice. The evening will also look at current controversies and practical strategies to support confident, evidence-informed care for critically ill patients.
Designed by ICU nurses, for ICU nurses, the program combines clinically relevant education with an informal and welcoming atmosphere. You’ll have the opportunity to meet nurses from across Local Health Networks, public and private health services and higher education, exchange ideas and learn more about how you can become involved with ACCCN and contribute to the future of critical care nursing.
And because an evening education session should still feel enjoyable, food and drinks are included in your registration, along with a door prize and a competitive clinical quiz to put your knowledge to the test.
