Assessing Mediation as a Tool for Dispute Resolution in the NICU and PICU

We are undertaking a study to explore the role of mediation in resolving disputes about end-of-life care in ICUs. The project seeks to understand the perceptions of mediation, its ethical and practical application, and whether mandatory mediation could be justified in paediatric intensive care settings. Findings will help develop preliminary guidelines to support effective and ethical conflict resolution in ICUs.

The survey is designed to gather your thoughts on various aspects of mediation, including its benefits, challenges, overall effectiveness and ability to be effectively incorporated into the ICU. It should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.

We sincerely appreciate your time and input. Your feedback will play a crucial role in shaping the future of mediation practices and ensuring they meet the needs of our community.
