FACCCN Membership Application

The Australian College of Critical Care Nurses Ltd (ACCCN)

Being a fellow of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses is a prestigious achievement, recognising individuals who have demonstrated long-standing commitment to ACCCN, advanced practice in critical care and significant contributions to the profession. Fellows of the Australian College of Critical Care Nurses can use the postnominal FACCCN after their name, signifying their prestigious status. Fellows are acknowledged as leaders in critical care nursing and serve as role models inspiring and guiding the next generation of critical care nurses.

In order to become an ACCCN Fellow, a person must meet the following criteria: 

  1. The applicant must have been an ACCCN member for a continuous period of >8 years.
  2. The applicant must have evidence of a Postgraduate qualification.
  3. The applicant must have evidence of significant leadership through contributions in one or more of the following areas: clinical practice, education, policy and research.
  4. The applicant must provide evidence of significant and ongoing contributions to ACCCN.
  5. The applicant must submit supporting references from two current ACCCN members who can speak to their contributions and leadership.
  6. The applicant must pay a $50 non-refundable application fee.


The application must also include:

  • A current CV which includes significant presentations, awards, publications or other outcomes.


If you wish to apply for the FACCCN Membership, please complete the form below. You will then be sent an invoice for a $50 application fee. Once the fee is received, your application and supporting evidence will be presented to the National Board for review and you will be informed of the outcome.

FACCCN Membership renewals are charged at the same rate as ACCCN Standard Full Membership.
