National Adult & Paediatric ALS Certification 2 Day Programs
The course assumes a level of familiarity with ALS practices and builds on these to train and assess the candidate at the level of an effective ALS team leader. Candidate ALS Team Leader Assessment Criteria for ACCCN ALS courses can be downloaded here. Please review this assessment criteria prior to enrolment for this course.
National Adult & Paediatric ALS Recertification 1 Day Programs
Registrants must have a current ALS or PALS certification (completed within the last 12 months). Any registrant who attends without a current ALS or PALS certification will not be eligible to complete the course and will not be issued a refund. For those who have a recently expired ALS or PALS certificate (completed with the last 12-18 months) please contact the ACCCN (admin@acccn.com.au) to discuss any leniency in this rule based on special circumstances, prior to registering for this course.
National Instructor Certification 2 Day Program
Registrants must have a current ALS or PALS certification (completed within the last 12 months) in order to complete the Instructor Course (and gain recertification in their ALS or PALS qualification). Any registrant who attends without a current ALS or PALS certification will not be eligible to complete the Instructor Course and will not be issued a refund. For those who have a recently expired ALS or PALS certificate (completed with the last 12-18 months) please contact the ACCCN (admin@acccn.com.au) to discuss any leniency in this rule based on special circumstances, prior to registering for this course.
National Instructor Recertification 1 Day Program
Registrants must have a current ALS Instructor Certification (completed within the last 24 month) as well as a current Adult or Paediatric ALS Certification (completed within the last 12 months in order to complete the ALS Instructor Recertification Course. Any registrant who attends a course without a current ALS Instructor Certification and a current Adult or Paediatric ALS Certification will not be eligible to complete the Instructor Recertification Course and will not be issued a refund. For those who have a recently expired ALS Instructor Certification or Adult/Paediatric Certification please contact the ACCCN (admin@acccn.com.au) to discuss any leniency in this rule based on special circumstances, prior to registering for this course.
Cancellation & Refund Policy:
This policy relates to all ACCCN ALS courses (Adult, Paediatric and Instructor)
- 30 days or more notice – free transfer/$50 cancellation fee
- 14 days to 30 days’ notice – forfeit 50% course fee or transfer fee $110
- Up 14 days prior to course – no refund
- Non-attendance on day/days of course – no refund
Where a course is 2 days and the registrant only attends 1 day of the course, this will be deemed a non-attendance and ordinarily no transfer is possible. In special circumstances and where possible a transfer to the second day of another course may be arranged in accordance with the above terms and conditions.
Cancellations must be made in writing to the relevant state branch –
ACCCN Rights & Liabilities:
ACCCN’s maximum liability is limited to the refund conditions above. ACCCN accepts no additional liability for travel, accommodation or any other additional costs incurred. A medical certificate or unforeseen circumstances does not change this liability.
ACCCN reserves the right to cancel any scheduled event up to 30 days prior to the event start date. Where ACCCN cancels a course, individuals with confirmed bookings on that course will be offered an alternative date. A full refund will be returned to the individual or organisation, if an alternative date/course cannot be provided.
ACCCN will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons or loss or damage to their personal property as a result of the ACCCN Course.
